Hello and welcome to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. My name is Leslie Helton. I am currently serving my fifth term as sheriff of Marshall County. I was first elected as sheriff in August 1990, taking office on September 01, 1990. Prior to my being elected sheriff of Marshall County I retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol after 23 years of service. I have been a law enforcement officer most of my adult life, having served as a police officer with the Shelbyville Police Department prior to joining the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 1967.
